Pay and earnings

Set your salary or hourly rate and usual work schedule in the app's pay settings. The earnings display is an estimate based on your inputs and recorded time; it is not a bank balance or an employer's payroll calculation.

Screen Time and the slack-off watch

On iPhone and iPad, enable the slack-off watch in Settings, allow Screen Time access when Apple asks, and choose the apps or categories to count. If nothing is counted, check that access is still allowed, your selection is not empty, and a shift is running. System threshold notifications can arrive after a delay.

On Mac, enable the feature, choose your apps, and keep Fur the Money running. Turn off the watch in Settings to stop monitoring. On iPhone and iPad, you can also revoke its Screen Time permission in Apple's settings.

iCloud sync

Sign in to the same Apple account on your devices and leave “keep the office in sync with iCloud” enabled in the app's Settings. Sync may take time. Pay, schedules and other supported office records sync; Screen Time selections and slack-off logs do not. Turning off sync on one device does not delete existing iCloud records.

Widgets and Live Activities

Add a Fur the Money widget from the Home Screen widget gallery. On iPhone, enable the shift display in the app's Settings and allow Live Activities in iOS Settings. Widgets and Lock Screen displays can show earnings; use the app's amount-hiding controls if you prefer to keep them private.

Imports and privacy

Choose only the screenshots or files you want to import and review detected amounts and dates before saving them. Recognition runs on-device. Read our privacy policy for details about salary, activity records, iCloud and removing data.
